Meet with your Academic Advisor or a CAPS counselor to register for courses. An academic advisor is the key to your success at MCC. Research shows that students who meet regularly with their academic advisor or counselor are more likely to complete their education.
Academic advisors are assigned to students based on their major. Advisors will discuss your program of study with you, and make suggestions about what courses would be beneficial.
Advisors can also serve as important resources for dealing with concerns you may have about specific courses, transferring to a four-year college, or finding a job in your field.

NOTE: During the summer, academic advisors may not be on-campus. CAPS counselors are available year-around to advise you on course selection, registration and tutoring. To meet with a CAPS counselor, call or visit the CAPS office.
