Instructions for Student Email

Manchester Community College has provided you with a college email address. This email address is where the college will send all electronic correspondences.

• Your email address is comprised of your first initial, last name, 3 numbers @students.ccsnh.edu, (ex.JSmith123@students.ccsnh.edu). To determine your email address please log into SIS and click on “What is My Default E-Mail Address?”
• You have been assigned a 6 digit numeric default password. To find this password please log into SIS and click on “What is my Default E-mail Password?”
• The Student resource site is located at http://Mymail.students.ccsnh.edu. From here you can log into email, SIS, Blackboard or the Knowledge Base for support and FAQs.
• If you forget your password, there is a link on the email log-in page for resetting password to your default password.
• If you are taking classes at two different campuses, you will have email accounts from both campuses.
• As of September 1, 2007, students will no longer be able to change their primary email address in BlackBoard or SIS; your college email address will be used as your primary email contact.

Instructions for Accessing the Student Information System (SIS)

Go to http://www.manchestercommunitycollege.edu/

Click on the "Student Information System" link under "Current Students". Click on "Secure login."

1. Your user ID is your Social Security Number - all nine digits without spaces or dashes.
   Or the nine digit student ID number we generated for you if you did not provide us with your SSN.
2. Your PIN is your six digit date of birth in MMDDYY format.
   (Example: date of birth August 20, 1983 = 080283)
   Or if not using your birth date, the last six digits of your Social Security Number,
   Or the last six digits of the student ID number.
3. 4. Click Login.

1. Enter your PIN (see #2 above).
2. Pick a new PIN you will remember - it must be six digits (no alpha characters).
3. Enter new PIN.
4. Re-enter new PIN.
5. Click Login.

1. Enter a question such as "What is my favorite color?"
2. Enter the answer. Keep it simple.
3. If you forget your PIN, you can enter your ID on the "secure login" page and click "Forget PIN?" Provide the correct answer (must be an exact match - if the answer you set up is 'blue' and you submit 'light blue' it will not work).
4. 4. Click "Submit" to access your information.

• Internet Explorer is the recommended browser.
  IE Version 5.0 with 128-bit encryption is the minimum requirement for the secure area.
• Accessing the Student Information System from behind a firewall (for instance, at your workplace) may prohibit access.
