Assessment/placement Testing -
Any student admitted into a program at Manchester Community College will be required to take placement tests in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. The goal of placement testing is to identify areas of strength and weakness so that appropriate course placements can be made for Math and English, or for courses impacted by Math, English, and Reading competencies. Students who are not applying to a program are still encouraged to take the test to meet course prerequisites as well as maximize opportunities for success. The tests are administered through the Center for Academic Planning and Support (CAPS).
Registered students can access Blackboard login in the following ways:
NOTE: If you did not register with your SSN, the Registrar's Office generated a student ID # for you. You must use the last five or six digits of that number instead of your SNN.
NOTE: Most faculty make their courses available one week before the semester begins. But if you register during this week or later, you must wait up to 48 hours for registration information to be transferred to Blackboard so you can access your course.
Please Note:
The last date to Register Online is August 28.
