Support Services

Manchester Community College has many support services for students including Trio and the Center for Academic Planning and Support.

The Center for Academic Planning and Support (also known as CAPS) is a one stop shop for students who need help with academic planning, advisement, tutoring, instructional services and career/job search counseling.

TRIO seeks to provide students with academic and personal support to help them fulfill their academic and career goals. Each Student is provided with an individualized success plan which identifies his/her barriers to success, as well as a counselor who will help them monitor their progress.

Low Income College Students
First Generation College Students
College Students with Disabilities

Trio is a federal grant program funded through the Department of Education. The program began serving Manchester in September of 2000, and is the only Trio Program in the state-wide community college system.
