These library and research skills, also known as information literacy, are essential to each student for their college and lifelong success. The session aims to familiarize the students to the resources available at the Library and to provide the basics of seeking and using appropriate information. Course-Based instruction sessions are tailored to the needs of the faculty member requesting the instruction. Consultations are designed specifically for individuals who would like to work one-on-one with a Librarian on a specific research topic. These consultations are on an appointment basis only. You will hear from the librarian as soon as possible (within 1-2 business days.
From time to time the Library offers special workshops, such as how to search in specific databases or citation styles.
